PEARLS OF THE SOUND 2019

The Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce (RKCC)

Presents 2019 International Women’s Day Celebration

International Women’s Day is celebrated each year around the world on March 8th.  It is considered a worldwide event which celebrates every woman’s victories & achievements.

IF YOU COULD SEE IT FROM MY EYES YOU WOULD KNOW YOU ARE ONE GEM OF A WOMAN !”

Who are the ‘Pearls of the Sound’?

The Pearls of the Sound are women who live or work within Rockingham or Kwinana and whose efforts make a difference to our community.  A group of pearls is knowns as a String, and together you represent all that is great in our community.

The Pearls of the Sound Awards came about because we wanted a way to acknowledge and honour the women in the cities of Rockingham & Kwinana and to ensure that your efforts everyday do not go by unnoticed by others, and that when you think what you are doing doesn’t matter, we want you to know that it does, it matters a lot.

Special thanks to: –

Madeleine King MP (Labor Member for the West Australian Federal seat of Brand in the Australian Parliament.) for accepting the honour of becoming the Ambassador for the Pearls of the Sound, your support and championing of women is sincerely appreciated.
