We adopt a significant role in the economic development of the Rockingham, Kwinana and surrounding regions, using extensive local knowledge, resources and networking capabilities.
The RKCC has a strong lobbying voice within Local, State and Federal governments advocating the benefits of utilising member expertise, capabilities and resources to positively contribute to regional growth, development and employment.

See what our members are saying…
The Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce is a remarkable resource for local businesses. Yesterday in Parliament, while speaking on the Lower Taxes for Small and Medium Businesses Bill 2018, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to give a shout out to their team and thank them for their incredible work.
The timing couldn’t be better to receive this thanks from our Federal Member of Brand Madeleine King MP. The Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce is formed by like-minded volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that business in our region has a voice and our region is at the forefront of key decision makers and government to bring growth and prosperity to our community.
Our honest experience with this great organisation is based on what can be achieved by likeminded people. In some cases companies just join so they can say they belong, the team at RKCC along with their supportive board, provide great time sensitive functions with interesting and relevant information being provided.
If we require assistance to make contact with a business our first call is to look at the membership and find a contact point and in some instances gain knowledge from Tony and Diana.
Being a new owner in a competitive market we are always assessing our option on how to grow our business in the best possible way, this membership has provided more value than other advertising/ branding strategies we have looked into.
I would strongly suggest any business no matter the size or industry become a member and gain the experience and results we have to date.
Since joining RKCC approx. 2years ago, I have found the BAH functions and various RKCC industry seminars to be of significant business networking value.
Not only have I met new local friends, whom also operate businesses within the same community, I have also learned to understand better ways of building connections with like-minded business owners. As a result, we all look to create business partnerships and to find ways to help other businesses and to utilise their services &/or products, so we all help generate referrals that benefit all parties concerned.
This is what RKCC has enabled me to achieve in this short, yet enjoyable period.
I Joined the RKCC to try and expand my client base, However what I achieved was a a network of business relations that improved how I interact with my customers and also refine my systems and business operations.
Doing this has allowed me to grow my client base and expand my business to a point where I needed a extra labourers to assist.
The RKCC also allowed my to add some recognition business, by becoming a member of a local recognised business group, Allowed insights developments within the local community.
Being a Part of the Chamber has been instrumental in giving SCWA the opportunity to network and build relationships with the business community in our area.
Helping your business grow and succeed is what RKCC is all about; and they are the heartbeat of the business community!
My dealings with the chamber have been fantastic. They are warm and welcoming and provide one with the ability to meet likeminded business people who are passionate about the services they offer.
It’s a positive environment where people can interact and see how they can benefit each other whether that be directly or indirectly. They put on a good spread and a refreshing beverage or three, great service to local business and community alike.
The hockey club is part of the RKCC and we have found it to be very useful. We have a list of local businesses to call on if we need help in certain areas e.g. maintenance works or tech help and it is keeping business local.
It is also helpful to have go to businesses if we are looking for support for our club via sponsorship or help with raffle/quiz night donations. We love supporting our local community businesses and providing a service sporting wise to the local community. The events that the RKCC put on are awesome as well as a great opportunity to network.
Our sponsors enable the RKCC to provide exceptional service to our members and community.
