A Message from the CEO

Happy New Year, and welcome back. I hope everyone enjoyed a well-earned break and had the chance to relax with family and friends.

We are gearing up for another big year here at the RKCC, with a strong calendar of events and continued initiatives designed to support and elevate our local business community. Your ongoing support plays an important role in helping us deliver meaningful opportunities across the Rockingham Kwinana region.

Before the year wrapped up, our Life Members, Partners and Sponsors joined us for the annual Chandlers Kitchen Christmas Sponsor Appreciation Sundowner. It was a wonderful evening, complete with beautiful food, warm service and a preview of their new menu and dinner offerings, which arrived just in time for the holiday season. The Chandlers team went above and beyond to make the night special, and we are grateful for their hospitality.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our committee of volunteers who assisted with setup and pack-down. Your support made the event run smoothly and was genuinely appreciated.

We are looking forward to another productive and exciting year ahead, and I can’t wait to reconnect with many of you at our upcoming events.

KEY LEADERS IN BUSINESS BREAKFAST, SUPPORTED BY THE CITY OF ROCKINGHAM

KLB (2).png

What a fantastic morning we had at our final Key Leaders in Business Breakfast for 2025, hosted at Martini + Co Rockingham and proudly supported by the City of Rockingham.

The event brought together a vibrant mix of businesses, showcasing both newly joined and long-standing RKCC members. With a sold-out room, attendees enjoyed valuable insights from Mayor Lorna Buchan and Daniel Rainone from Bluerock Projects.

Mayor Buchan provided an informative update on a range of developments across the City of Rockingham and took a moment to introduce herself, sharing her background, experience, and vision for the community.

Our keynote speaker, Daniel Rainone, delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on Bluerock’s exciting development in Rockingham. He outlined the vision, progress, and process behind the project, giving attendees a clear understanding of how the development is taking shape and what it will mean for the region.

November Business After Hours Hosted by Heaney Business Group & Rockingham Flames Basketball Club

HGB FLAMES.png

We closed out our final Business After Hours of the year in the best way possible. Hosted by Heaney Business Group and the Rockingham Flames, the evening brought everyone together to celebrate Heaney’s ten years in business and to hear about the great community initiatives the Flames are rolling out across the region.

X-Golf Rockingham and Hey Caddy set the perfect scene, with plenty of energy, lots of conversation and more than a few friendly competitions on the simulators. It was a fun, easy-going night that really showcased the strength of our local business community and gave everyone a chance to connect before the year wrapped up.

Guests were spoiled with an impressive range of prizes, including an NBL1 Corporate Box and an NBL Family Season Pass from the Flames, a Strategic Planning Session at Heaney Business Group valued at $4,000, coffee from The Caffeinated Bunny, a sunset cruise from Catalpa Charters and Heaney’s special ten-year celebration wine glasses.

A big thank you to Heaney Business Group and the Rockingham Flames for hosting such an enjoyable event, and to everyone who joined us throughout the year. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to seeing you at our 2026 events.
