The Rockingham Jobs Fair provides an opportunity for local groups, organisations, government departments, education providers and businesses to share information with the wider community, to raise their profile, to increase awareness of current and upcoming opportunities.

Sandon WA Inc will be delivering the Focused on Wheels, Road Safety Program. The program strengthens community road safety by building confidence behind the wheel and teaching practical, hands‑on vehicle skills.

Workshop Schedule
Workshop 1: How to Change a Tyre & Check Oil
10:30am – 12:30pm A practical, hands‑on introduction to essential vehicle maintenance skills.
Workshop 2: How to Reverse a Trailer
1:00pm – 2:30pm A guided session focused on safe trailer reversing techniques. Participants must hold a valid driver’s licence to take part in this workshop.
Sessions are limited to 12 participants each - bookings are essential
Job Seekers | Students
The annual Rockingham Jobs Fair will take place at the Gary Holland Community Centre on 22 April 2026 from 10am to 4.00pm. This free annual event has value for everyone from school-leavers to those looking to change careers or re-enter the workforce. It is designed to showcase local job opportunities across all sectors for all ages and skill sets. The Rockingham Jobs Fair will feature workshops and live demonstrations as well as a jobs board and representation from training organisations and employers looking to recruit new employees and apprentices.
Businesses
Businesses can host a stall at this event without any cost, and can share information with job-seekers and the wider community on their local job opportunities.
This latest initiative from the City’s Economic Development Strategy 2025 – 2030 gives Rockingham residents of all ages and stages an opportunity to engage with businesses and training organisations active in the local area to scope out a path towards their next career challenge.
