A Rapidly Growing City - Rich in Spirit - Alive With Opportunity, Surrounded By Nature

From humble beginnings as a Shire built to support local industry in the 1950s, Kwinana is now a thriving metropolitan City. Between 2011 and 2036, Kwinana’s population is forecast to increase by 53,510 residents- an impressive 174.32% growth. A multi-billion dollar revitalisation program has provided state-of-the-art infrastructure in the City including The Darius Wells Centre, Zone Youth Space, Kwinana Marketplace and Adventure Park.

The close-knit community spirit Kwinana is known for remains strong today, making it a warm and welcoming place to live. Kwinana is surrounded by an abundance of natural bushland and the coastline, offering a close to nature feeling just a short train journey from the Perth CBD.

Kwinana includes the suburbs of Anketell, Bertram, Calista, Casuarina, Hope Valley, Kwinana Beach, Leda, Mandogalup, Medina, Naval Base, Orelia, Parmelia, Postans, the Spectacles, Wandi and Wellard.
